The Treaty of Versailles

The Treaty of Versailles was signed on June 28th, 1919, to end World War One. It was a treaty of Peace between the Germans and the Allies. It took six months for all of the provisions to be worked out. In conclusion, it stated that Germany caused the war, and therefore, should pay for all the damages. Germany did not pay off the war debts until 1988.
